To honor Sidehsow’s Spider-Man VS Venom & Sandman diorama during Spider-man 3 week Sideshow toys is holding a build your own Sandman contest. The rules are simple, create your own original rendition of the Spider-man 3 villian Sandman out of sand, that’s right sand(never would have guessed that one). What, no easy access to sand? Ok then use dirt. Just be creative and submit your photo(no photoshops) by May 7th, 2007. Have fun!

Sideshow Toys promised more news would follow the announcement that they had the World of Warcraft license for a collectible line and more news it was. We began the new year with Sideshow giving collectors a hint of Spider-man 3. Since Diamond Select Toys owns the license for a Spider-Man 3 line that will include statues, busts and more it will be interesting to see what exactly Sideshow will be giving fans and we’ll be awaiting more details to come.

Update:

From the expanded new release we find out that Sideshow with Medicom will be producing a 12inch figure line-up and a Vinyl Collectible Doll series based on characters from the new Spider-man 3 movie.
