McFarlane Toys will be releasing their Simpsons Series 1 based on the long running animated TV show, The Simpsons. Collectors can expect to see the items on store shelves in March of 2007, just enough time before to kick off the movie release in July. The collectibles in this series feature Homer and Bart together in their classic Homer strangling Bart pose and another with the two dressed as Pie Man and The Cupcake Kid. This series will also have a Homer and Marge and Kamp Krusty Collectibles as well as an Itchy and Scratchy Boxset.

“Lard Lad” is set to be a huge hit with Simpsons fans and collectors alike. The McFarlane Lard Lad Boxset will be a great addition to the already wonderful Simpsons line-up. Expect to see Lard Lad released in February ‘07.
