  Sideshow Toys released a teaser video this week to introduce the first Lord of the Rings collectible in their new Diorama series to be released in the coming months.  Frodo and Gollum: The Crack of Doom features the Ring driven conflict finale between Frodo and Gollum at Mount Doom.  According to Sideshow many of the diorama’s in this new series will be drawn from some of the dramatic confrontations that took place in the films as well as some that are not so conflict oriented.   The scale and sizes of the upcoming dioramas will vary as well as the price but don’t expect them to come cheap.

  Sideshow is now taking pre-orders for the 12inch Faramir, Son of Denethor Collectible Figure.  Although the Exclusive Sideshow version is sold out you can still order the regular Faramir 12inch Lord of the Rings Figurine.  The Faramir figure has been much anticipated by collectors and fans alike and they won’t be let down by this one.  This fully articulated figurine comes with both bow and sword as well as a finely crafted hooded cloak and surcoat with the white tree of Gondor emblem on it.  Faramir will cost you around $65US and you can expect to wait until some time after May 2007 for shipping.
