DST announced today the release of their next exclusive Marvel Comics bust, a World War Hulk Bust. This fine collectible bust is fetaures the Hulk in his universal adventure with the green scar and his heavy armor. The 600 edition bust will be sold exclusively through Action Figure Express and will go on pre-order in the near future. You can expect to see a modified International version to be released as well. All I can say is good job DST on this Hulk Bust, it’s definitely a step up in detail and quality from what we’re used to seeing and it’s a welcome change. I can’t wait to see more like this.
Diamond Select Toys is celebrating 20 years of Star Trek - The Next Generation by creating a Star Trek Captain Picard in Chair Action Figure. Picard is fully articulated and the chair is fully detailed in a way that only DST could do. This fantastic Star Trek collectible should be available for purchase in September of ‘07.
What’s the deal with how classic original series Klingons looks compared to the ones in the new Star Trek series? Did they start cross breading with the Predator race or something? Anyways, if you want to add some of those classic style action figures to your Star Trek collection then you’ll be happy with Diamond Select Toys recent announcement. DST is teaming up with Emce Toys to release 6 classic action figures which are reproductions of an collectible line released by MEGO Corp. in the 70’s. Even the original molds will be used. Diamond Select’s retro Star Trek figures will be released in June of 2007 and cost $17.99US each. The first two action figures to be released will be a Captain James T. Kirk and Klingon.
Diamond Select Toys in partnership with Universal Studios has announced that they will be launching an Battlestar Galactica Action Figure lineup. According to the DST press release the first action figures will be seen this summer will feature several key characters including the seductive Cylon Six.
